Nova Scotia Duck - Tolling Retriever - Sir Frederick - Medium
Meet Sir Frederick this gorgeous ball of auburn fluff appears to be a cross between a Duck Tolling Retriever with a corgi body. The AKC standard describes his temperament as :The Toller is highly intelligent, alert, outgoing, and ready for action, though not to the point of nervousness or hyperactivity. He is affectionate and loving with family members and is good with children, showing patience. Some individuals may display reserved behavior in new situations, but this is not to be confused with shyness" He?s 3 years young, a small 25 pounds and has become very attached to his Foster Dad Tom in Charleston SC. His activity level is low- what he enjoys most is snuggling and following Tom step for step.- He ?shines? with attention and ear scratches. Freddie is fine with the other corgyn in his foster household & noses to the front of the line to be first for attention. This sweet boy has probably spent the first years of his life as an ?outside dog? and is a very quick study with housebreaking. He?s learned the doggie door, is very, very bright & the ideal household might be with a settled individual who wants a constant companion. He?s so eager to please and will make a wonderful addition to most any household. Well behaved children over 6 would be fine. He hasn?t been tested with cats. He is up to date with all his shots, on Heartworm and Flea Preventative and has been neutered. Adoption Fee is $150 and geographical preference within 200 miles of Charleston.
